How does delivery work?
Mersey Raw is proud to offer next day frozen delivery to most of the UK, 7 days a week.
Orders made before 1pm will be shipped the same day. Any orders placed after 1pm will be shipped the following day. Our delivery costs £6.95 (free on orders over £65).
As our products are classed as perishable goods, they are sent on a next day delivery service. If you are not at home to receive your order, our couriers will leave it in the safest place possible and if you have not already notified the courier where to leave it.
Mersey Raw accepts no responsibility for orders that have been diverted or left in a safe place, therefore please ensure someone is available to receive your order.
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive tracking information from the courier to the email address or mobile number you have entered on your order. We specifically request that someone be home to take in the parcel, as Mersey Raw is not liable for any parcels that are redirected, or requested to be left in a safe place.
Please note: do not change the delivery date of your parcel - this could result in your parcel being disposed of as it contains frozen goods. Mersey Raw will not replace orders that have been disposed of for this reason.
Our frozen next day delivery costs £6.95 and is free for orders over £65. Any order received before 1pm will be delivered the next day (7 days a week). Orders placed after 1pm will arrive 2 days later.

How much should I give my dog?
We recommend feeding your dog approximately 2-3% of its ideal body weight in raw food per day.
More active dogs should be fed approximately 3-4% of their ideal body weight in raw food per day and less active dogs approximately 1-2% of their ideal body weight.
For puppies, feed them approximately 5-8% of their ideal body weight in raw food per day.
Spread their daily amount into 1-2 servings per day.
As a rough guide, for adult dogs:
Extra small dogs 1kg - 5kg (Dachshund, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle): 30g - 150g per day.
Small dogs 5kg - 10kg (Yorkshire Terrier, French Bulldog, Miniature Schnauzer): 150g - 300g per day.
Medium-sized dogs 10kg - 25kg (Bearded Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Beagle) 150g - 750g per day.
Large dogs 25kg - 45kg (German Shepherd, Labrador, Dalmation) 750g - 1.35kg per day.
Extra large dogs 45kg+ (Irish Wolfhound, Great Dane, Bernese Mountain Dog) over 1.35kg per day.
How to switch to raw dog food?
Switching to raw dog food is easy and straight-forward for almost all dogs.
The easiest way to switch, and what works for 99% of dogs, is to immediately switch from their old food to their new raw dog food.
If your dog is a little reluctant to try new things and perhaps prone to an occasionally upset tummy, one thing that will help them transition to raw dog food is to mix in some warm (not hot) water or add some bone broth.
Is it suitable for puppies?
Yes, Mersey Raw dog food is suitable for dogs of all ages, including puppies.
If your puppy is under 8 weeks old, we recommend serving them our duck, chicken, venison or turkey minces, as they are a touch finer.
Should I add any supplements?
A mixed raw diet has everything that your dog needs to stay fit and healthy.
If you would like to supplement your dog's diet, we recommend supplementing with oily fish, whole raw eggs (including shell), and bone broth.
Once thawed, how long does it last?
Once thawed, our raw dog food is perfectly fine to be used for 4 days, when you keep it sealed in the fridge.
Once thawed, can it be re-frozen?
Yes it can, but you can only re-freeze our raw dog food once and only if it’s remained cool throughout the time it has been thawed.
In the freezer, how long will it last?
Mersey Raw frozen dog food can last up to 12 months in your freezer.

Im so glad i found this food for my dog in 2 years ive never seen him actually empty his bowl like he has been doing since hes been on this food even his skin is looking so much better i recomand anybody to give it a go you wont be dissapointed

Thanks for asking me for a review. I’m not allowed to eat my way through this bundle as fast as I would like - the Food Controller has different ideas - but Beef & Tripe is definitely Michelin Star quality - completely yummy. Presently I am munching my way through Duck. It is so fabulous I am practically quacking. I am hoping the Food Controller will offer Venison tomorrow - I saw some deer in the woods today but had no chance for a munch. Food Controller is very relieved there is no chicken. I hadn’t noticed, to be honest 😋

First time using Mersey Raw, it's a fantastic product and the packaging is so easy to use and reuse if needs be ! Customer service was so helpful and Alex gave me a lot of much needed help, nice to have someone that is so patient and doesn't make you feel rushed or a nuisance ! My puppies absolutely loved the food, I've never seen them eat so fast 😊 My 8 Yr old Cavapoo enjoyed it but my 4 & 2 Yr old weren't very keen on the Venison

Nice bundle with a variety of meats
My fussy puppy was terrible with foods I changed his food so often it was costing me a fortune. But then I see a post on instagram and thought why not give Mersey Raw a try, OMG my puppy is no longer fussy…..he finishes every meal and I think it’s because all the different flavours each day! He looks amazing within a week of being on Mersey Raw I’m so glad I made the switch.
I’ve been looking for a reliable supplier of good quality raw dog food due to having quite few problems feeding kibble of various brands to my 9 month old GSD and I’ve been impressed so far.I received my first order within 24 hours and everything arrived in perfect condition,the bowl is licked clean every time and he seems happier,calmer and healthier.Happy dog-happy owner!
Amazing quality, after less than a week of feeding l can see a massive difference in his 💩💨 and coat. Such a wide range of different protein sources at affordable prices. He loves the treats section especially the sprats.

This was the first time trying Mersey Raw for food and can honestly say you now have a regular customer, I have already put in second order! I have 3 German shepherds who appear to be loving the food, price and delivery is also excellent. One of my GSDs is allergic to chicken so to be able to get food that doesn’t have chicken products in it is amazing as is really quite difficult to source so I really appreciate that and so does Ryker (see below!)
My xl bully Luna was becoming fussy with her old raw food so thought I’d give the chicken free Mersey raw a go and it is safe to say she loves it the quality is great it’s fresh and what’s better it was delivered by the next day of ordering. We have now put a new order in x
Great to have a box without chicken. I use this for my cats, although they can eat chicken it’s nice not to have it in every meal.
I breed cats so much and kittens all happily eating this and looking fabulous.

Good quality meat, my dogs really enjoyed it. However bit disappointed by the packaging wise, the box came with box ripped and re-sealed by DPD, most of them containers were broken was expected that I can reuse those containers but had to bin almost 80% of them

New to raw - this was my first ever order, unfortunately some labels missing from the food, so will have to go though each item on starter pack to try and figure out which is which
